Concerts, Sporting Events and Ziplining….Oh My!

In 2019, we announced the Outstanding Service Awards we planned to implement in 2020. Then 2020 happened, and we had to pivot our plans. With everything starting to reopen slowly, we are getting back on track with the Outstanding Service Awards, and we have some exciting updates!

First, for those who are new and for those who forgot about this (since it wasn’t actually implemented last year), we are starting/restarting our Outstanding Service Awards! This is a way to not only give your co-workers and employees a chance to receive the kudos they deserve for going above and beyond the

call of duty, but it also gives those individuals a chance to win some really cool prize trips.

Here is how it works. If you notice a co-worker/employee going above and beyond for a member, subscriber, or fellow co-worker, you can submit “kudos” via the Outstanding Service Award survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VWQYHNP) or submit them as “applause” via PingBoard. Those submissions go to the Fun Committee for review.

The Fun Committee reviews those submissions to make sure the individual really did go above and beyond for someone, and the submission isn’t just “Patrick gave me a high-five last Tuesday, and it was awesome.” While my high-fives have been described as truly legendary, that isn’t what this is all about. A good submission could be “Kenda Rose really helped out the Marketing and Communications Department by taking over fulfillment of a promo item attached to a marketing campaign. She has streamlined the process by removing a manual process for the MarComm team and made the overall process more efficient. Thank you Kenda!” By the way, that kudo is real, and Kenda is awesome!

So, once the Fun Committee reviews the submissions, the employees receiving the kudos/applause are selected randomly and will get to choose their employee group trip!

Fun Committee is cultivating quite the list of fun trips (see below)! During the trips, employees will meet up with other employees that have selected the same trip at the Tipton HQ Office. Once there, a member of Senior Staff (or two depending on event and group size) will escort the event by driving the employees to the event, taking them out to dinner, and driving them home after the event. This lets employees not only enjoy a fun event but will allow employees to get to know co-workers they may not see on a regular basis!

EVENT LIST (SO FAR)

· Sporting Event - Cardinals v Reds (Busch Stadium) – 12 employees

· Concert – Poison/Motley Crue/Def Leppard/Joan Jett (Busch Stadium) – 16 employees

· Concert – Luke Combs (Enterprise Center) – 6 employees

· Fun Event – We will take groups ziplining and for helicopter rides over the summer at the Lake. Number of trips to this event is TBD.

*We also have tickets to a Maroon 5 concert. We are waiting for a rescheduled date by concert promoters. We will make an announcement when this date is set.

More sporting event tickets will be acquired as events are opened for ticket purchasing.
