On Wednesday, February 23, a new transformer was placed at the Lost Valley Substation in Warsaw, MO. This new transformer, which took 1+ years to make its way to Co-Mo, is being utilized to better serve and increase the reliability of our electrical service to the membership, specifically around the rural parts of Benton County for which we serve. The transformer was over 80,0000 lbs. Central Electric Power Cooperative owns the substation and transformer, Co-Mo takes service out of it to serve the members. This also shows the coops (specifically Co-Mo and CEPC) are investing heavily in infrastructure to strengthen the grid and support member growth.
