The Missouri State Fair officially kicks off on Thursday, Aug.12,
and will run through Sunday, Aug. 22. The Missouri’s Electric Cooperatives
building will be busy with many activities during the 11
days of the fair. Several new displays are featured this year including
information on electric vehicles and our youth programs, and people
featured in past issues of Rural Missouri will provide demonstrations.
We also are excited to be able to host the My Missouri 2021
photograph exhibition in our building as our state celebrates its bicentennial.
Once again this year, we’ll hold our scavenger hunt for
visitors to have a chance at winning an Apple iPad and we’ll hold a
drawing (among those who apply) for four $500 scholarships.
